Interacting with gitaplus

The Pair/Park button provides tactile feedback, changes color, brightness, and pulses to make your interaction with gitaplus simple and straightforward.

With this button, you switch back and forth between gitaplus two primary modes: Park, and Follow.

Park

Park is gitaplus’s resting position. Should gitaplus’s stability or safety be compromised, like on a steep surface, it automatically stops moving and switches to Park. You can enter or exit Park by touching the Pair/Park Unpair button.

Follow 

Follow is gitaplus’s core functionality. All you have to do is stand in front of gitaplus and touch the button while in Park mode. gitaplus pairs with you and follows you as you walk while differentiating you from fellow pedestrians. gitaplus changes to Park when you end Follow by touching the button.

Mute

gitaplus can be muted using the mygita mobile app. When muted, gitaplus’s button lights confirm the action by a brief color change to pink.

Stealth

Gitaplus can be put into stealth mode after it has been muted. Entering stealth mode will disable the lights on gitaplus. Note to unmute gitaplus from stealth mode, you will have to disable stealth mode first, then unmute gitaplus.
